Avoid Holiday Weight Gain

Holiday mealsThanksgiving is coming this very week, and holiday weight gain is a concern for many people. Most folks overestimate the amount of weight they will gain during the holidays, but at the same time, they underestimate how long it will take to lose that pound or two. Over the years and decades, this adds up to obesity. Some people call it “creeping obesity.”

If you think and plan, you can avoid the problem. Read about it in our recent article, “Avoiding Holiday Weight Gain.” Here’s a hint – weigh yourself now, today! After New Year’s Day, weigh yourself again and if you have gained weight, take it off before Valentine’s Day. Do not let that one pound become two, or five or ten.
