What is “Morbid Obesity?”

To a doctor (or an insurance underwriter) “morbid obesity” means a BMI of 35+. You can read about BMI here. The obesity is “morbid” because, as the medical dictionary says, it induces diseases like diabetes or heart disease. This diagnosis is a sign that there is trouble ahead if action is not taken soon.
